DIRTY SOUTH BATS WILL REPAIR OR REPLACE ANY HIGH PERFORMANCE DEFECTIVE BAT DUE TO MANUFACTURING DEFECT FOR UP TO ONE YEAR FROM THE PURCHASE DATE UNDER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BELOW:
THE WARRANTY IS ONE FREE BAT REPLACEMENT OVER THE 12 MONTHS.
The DSB 2 5/8 barrel bat warranty covers all manufacturing defects resulting from normal field usage including:
- Loose or Detached End Cap or Rattling
PROPER BAT CARE & USE INSTRUCTIONS
This is a high performance product, designed to deliver maximum performance within the limits of the association rules. In order to deliver peak performance, this bat is not indestructible. In fact, it's useful life is partly determined by the number of hard hits it takes over it's lifetime. For this reason, this bat is designed with the intent of individual use, it is not designed to be a team bat. This warranty is limited to one bat replacement per original purchase. DSB reserves the right to refuse warranty service to any person who, in the sole discretion of DSB, abuses products and/or our warranty policy.
To extend the life of your bat, DSB suggests the following:
- Use with leather covered balls only
- Limit the bat to your individual use only
- Rotate the bat 1/4 turn each at-bat
- Do not hit wet baseballs
Try to remember to not leave your bat in your parents car outside in freezing temperatures and think you can head to practice or the batting cage and use your bat straight from the car. You will compromise the performance so make sure you bring your bat up to the surrounding temperatures.
To clean your bat, use only mild soap and water.
WARNING: Hitting metal cleats, rocks, or anything other than a ball can damage your bat and will void the warranty. While composite bats are more durable than wood bats, these bats can break, so use care. Further, deep scratches, nicks or dents can cause these bats to break at any time. Composite bats should be replaced approximately every two years assuming normal usage. Breakage can cause injury to the batter, other players or spectators. Inspect your bat frequently for cracks, nicks, dents, surface damage or excessive wear. DO NOT USE BAT IF EXCESSIVELY WORN OR DAMAGED. Avoid using your bat in cold weather. Temperatures below 55 degrees Fahrenheit (15 degrees Celsius) increase the hardness of balls significantly. Lower temperatures will affect the performanc of any baseball bat and can increase the risk of cracking in composite bats. We recommend that you practice with this bat in 55 degrees or higher. Obviously you will be playing in games where the temperature will drop below 55 degrees. Our recommendation in these conditions is to play your game, but be sensitive to the use.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
- Bats that have been abused, altered or mistreated
- Bats that have been used in a commercial batting cage
- Bats purchased from non-authorized DSB dealers or individuals
- Bats purchased at auction, or on auction websites
- Grip replacements
DSB does not approve of or authorize the purchaser to physically alter the bat in any manner for use in any game under the jurisdiction or sponsorship of an association or organization that has set standards for the performance of bats. Alteration includes, but is not limited to: bat doctoring, rolling in a vice, hitting foreign objects other than approved balls, inner wall shaving, end-loading, and any other action that is designed to change the character or performance attributes of the bat. Any suspected alteration of the bat will nullify the DSB 1 year Warranty.
We know there are people and companies that roll bats. Don’t do it with ours. We have attempted to roll our bats, and due to the technical structure of our bat, rolling does not help at all. In fact, it will deform the bat as too much pressure would be necessary to surface any benefit of breaking the fibers down. If you send your bat out to be rolled and it comes back in fine shape then you have done nothing except waste money.
Note: Save your receipt as proof of purchase if you did not purchase from our website. It is required to return a defective bat. Bats returned without proof of purchase may not be covered by the warranty. If you purchased from our website, we will have a copy of your records, and you would need to verify your personal information. If you purchase from this website, a copy of your receipt will automatically be saved. All we need is purchaser’s last name, city, and state.
1. What is the criteria based on which you accept returns?
We accept refunds within 30 days, provided that the wrapper is NOT REMOVED and the bat is NOT USED at all.
2. How much time does the customer have to return an item?
30 days, provided that the wrapper is not removed and the bat is not used AT ALL.
3.How much time would you take to process the request?
2 business days.
4. What is your cancellation policy?
Products can be cancelled if not already shipped. If cancelled beyond ship date, customer must pay shipping and send UNOPENED/UNWRAPPED product back for cancellation.
